JE VOUS VOIS (I SEE YOU) & BULB MAGAZINE
BULB Magazine is always interested in creating an expansive cultural connection with our readers. It is important to us that our content is accessible to everybody. We believe in democracy in art and culture, that is, it should not be an elite pleasure. In the past we have pursued this ideology and for several years our associate Matis Leggiadro has been a constant supporter because this is his mission as well. To cut a long story short, while we have both been working on our own individual projects, we have decided to, on occasion, combine our writings. This is primarily based on shared common interests (passions even) so the content is shared on the basis of highlighting issues that both parties feel are important to express our individual thoughts. Of course, the two journals are seperated by language but this has not been a problem so far. So, we hope that this will be the first of many collaborations between BULB Magazine and Je Vous Vois . The article coming up is about a public artwork by the internationally renowned conceptual artist John Latham which is published in French in Je Vous Vois, it was published originally in the Scottish journal ArtWork (Issue 217 July / August 2021) and again in BULB Magazine (Summer 2021 Issue # 1 - Niddrie Woman).
John Latham : la vision d’un homme au milieu des terrils
Négligence et désintérêt ont balayé le passionnant travail de cœur et de forme de John Latham. Cathy Bell témoigne du génie.
